Russians Must Be So Firmly Defeated “They’re NOT Capable of Attacking NATO Countries”— Gen. Keane
🎬 Sky News Australia | The Bolt Report | ⏱️ 9’24”span / 90K views 8/18/2022 — Retired US Army Chief of Staff General Jack Keane says the conflict against Russia which NATO has been preparing for “is here”.
“Russia has invaded Ukraine and if successful and they’re able to take this sovereign country and own and control this country, they will be encouraged to go further with that,” Gen Keane told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“They have publicly stated – the rhetoric coming out of Putin is very specific – that he has designs on the former Soviet republics that are now part of NATO and specifically the first ones would be the Baltics because they’re the most vulnerable.”
Gen Keane said what must done to stop Russia “advancing on NATO” then Russia must be defeated in Ukraine. “Punish them as a result of that in their defeat so they’re not even capable of launching an attack against NATO countries,” he said.

So I’ve been playing with my WordPress Widgets.
The tag cloud is meant to give new readers an impression of this blog’s preoccupations. The ‘recent comments’ highlights the posts that made the biggest impacts, and there is a search field because it is always frustrating when a blog lacks one.
I’ve also remodeled my biography, making it seem a little more professional. I’ve also copied the text…

Bolt Report: Rundown
The first episode of 'the Bolt Report' aired today. For those who missed it, here's a rundown of the show as it happened.
10:00 - Start transmission. Cue theme music from ‘Beyond 2000’.
10:01 - Red paint on set is actually blood.
10:01 - Bolt’s ‘welcome’ smile produced by Weta Digital, the effects company behind Avatar. A glitch in the rendering causes Bolt to stare down the barrel of the camera like a deer in the headlights for the first 30 seconds of airtime.
10:05 - Bolt compliments Labor’s refugee policy, which has seen some 200 boat people lose their lives.
10:08 - Bolt draws startling parallels between Gillard’s Malaysian offshore processing policy and Howard’s ‘Pacific Solution’, which he notes also drew heavily on Hitler’s ‘Final Solution’.
10:11 - Abbot and Bolt take time out from their grueling interview to kiss.
10:13 - Mark Latham is introduced. Surprises viewers by not breaking a cab driver’s arm for duration of the show.
10:14 - Michael Kroger is introduced. Leads Latham and Bolt in an Al Jolson routine.
10:16 - Bolt closes his argument that Afghan refugees are dole bludging leeches that don't fit in with Australian culture by interviewing an Afghan refugee who runs his own small business while finishing an early morning surf.
10:18 - Bolt praises Keating over his coining of the phrase ‘muesli chewing’ as an epithet against the Leftist elite. Both Bolt and Keating swallow their muesli whole.
10:22 - In what looks set to become a weekly segment, Bolt measures the skulls of Larissa Behrendt and Bess Price to determine who is the real Aboriginal. A phrenology expert from IPA confirms the findings and awards runner up Behrendt a sash that reads ‘Octoroon of the Week’.
10:29 - Bolt wishes mothers everywhere a ‘happy Mother’s Day’. Sips from a goblet. End transmission.
