A-a.. a slighted chicken?

"Long story short, Snowjumper, my chicken, acted out by scaring Cobalt when I brought them along to meet the chickens the other day, and I yelled at him for it without piecing together why he acted out. Now I'm making something to hopefully make it up to him."

Alright, I will need you to sit down then. Careful now.

[After some time of looking up stitching methods and remembering what the "source material" looked like, the work began. Silver the "real deal" was kind of a grouch, but it wasn't clear if giving certain expression would change the plush's demeanor, so it was decided to give it a smile.]

[The plushy buddy has gained a small side smirk akin to Sonic's.]

Not knowing what sit down meant, it flops to the floor, almost like a ragdoll. It sees how Cobalt is positioned as they watched TV, then sat up accordingly.

It is still as you went to work.

Once you were done, it felt around its muzzle until it found its new mouth. It doesn't know what to think as it can't see your handiwork.

*raises the kit to the plush's eye level* So, what do you think? Shall we try?

After staring at the sewing kit for a moment, it gives you some small nods.

Right there yeah! With a needle and a thread. You're a plush, so that shouldn't hurt, right? *takes teal backpack that wasn't there a second ago and pulls out a small sewing kit* It's gonna be very amateurish, buuuuut it's something. No magical abilities from me though.

It tilts its head again, unsure of what you meant by 'magical abilities', then moves its gaze to your sewing kit.

Mm... I guess not.

*takes a couple steps back and checks the plush from different angles, mostly to see how it was gonna track the motion. does it turn the whole head, or do the pupils magically move? does it care enough to do that at all?*

*faces the thing again*

Hmm.. hey, I think I could sew you a mouth. How about that? Would you allow me to?

The eyes are fixed in place, so it uses its head to follow your movements.

At your offer of giving them a mouth, they point to their muzzle, as if to ask 'You can give me a mouth?'.

[no way.. that really is a plushie. it was hard to say whether that was uncanny or impressive]

Is that.. You? Gosh, what have those shaded figures done to you this time? *reaches to touch the plush arm to feel the fabric but hesitates* Can, can you even.. speak like this? *leans towards the thing's face to see if it has a mouth of any sort*

It continued to stare silently, not answering your first few questions.

At your last question, there's a small shake of the head. You can clearly see there's a lack of a mouth on the muzzle.

*the cat wanders around Silver's usual whereabouts to check on him but instead stumbles upon the plush version. the size of that thang is lightly unnerving*

Oh hey- uh- err..Sil..ver?..... Um.. Silver?

"Silver" tilts its head at you. It doesn't blink. It doesn't speak. It just... stares curiously.

Upon closer inspection, the hedgehog has seems on various parts of its body. Silver doesn't typically have those.
