I finished Bonechiller by Graham McNamee.
It was average. I didn't particularly care for the relationship subplot between Danny and Ash, but I really liked Pike and his protective nature towards his brother Howie. He's more than a bit bonkers (i.e. basically a pyromaniac with a love for explosives), but he does love his brother.
Overall, though, it sits in the "average" range for me. Not spectacular, but it’s not terrible. I suppose it's the book equivalent to vanilla ice cream; you don't really love it, but you don't hate it either.
