Naturally my favorite ship is Fair Game, it lives in my brain rent free I care so much for these old saps

As for my headcanons, God I have so many it's not even funny- also you're not the only one to ask that so far so I'll leave room for some more for the next asks!

My favorite character is obviously Qrow, I don't feel like I have to announce this but jic someone wasn't sure LOL

Qrow is a trans bi king!! This is fact he told me

I like to think Qrow is a huge metal fan, specifically the slightly older bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Iron Maiden etc. HEavily influenced by Summer who introduced him to the topic of music in general! They listened to a lot of tunes together and found their fav bands through each other.

Qrow is nearsighted, and kind of needs glasses for it but refuses to wear them. It's not bad enough to the point where he can't see but it is bad enough to the point where he can't properly read small texts like ingredients or small manuals. He mainly doesn't want glasses because he doesn't want to come to terms with the fact he's aging. Only when it really starts to bother him will he pull them out.

Qrow's handwriting is horrendous to the point where even he can't read it. Every time he writes Oz or James a letter at some point he meets up with them and gets the inevitable "hey Qrow what the hell does this say?" and he can never answer them lmao

What’s a fic idea you’ve had that you will never write?

Gods, I have... so many little snippets that I've kept over the years because I'm a huge word hoarder. Simple lines of dialogue, a scene in a room, an interaction between two or three characters. Ideas for current fics that started off as something very different indeed.

Just something quick that I've written down, to keep the idea alive, and maybe one day I might come back and repurpose it.

I don't know about never write, however. There's certainly topics or tropes I wouldn't touch with a twenty foot pole. And if I've had the idea and written it down, then usually the only way it doesn't get written or repurposed is if there's no substance behind it, or I can't find enough of a world to build around it.

Looking at my lil notes file here, there's some that have multiple bullet points to them, and even an AU name, but I could never find a starting point to get it going. Or the other end of it, where there's something so basic and lacking any sort of idea to motivate me into writing it (the one bullet point here simply titled "coffee date," which, come on now). There was once a very different idea for a Mercenary AU that had quite a few points of worldbuilding put into it, but without the motivation to get into it, it's laying kind of stagnant.

I had attempted to write a continuation fix-it fic to V7, back when things were still so recent, but I'll be honest, I couldn't stand to look at it after some time. The file still lives in my writing folder, and all the notes are still within it, but I'll never touch it again.
