lewis / bono

(the dash may have moved on but i am here in an eternal Last Wednesday, still working through old asks)

so! lewis and bono: they ARE my gay dads (h/t to @maudlintrash for her tireless promotional and exegetical work for this ship). i mean look at this. look at their little faces. no one has ever been so happy!

i love bono's dorky little glasses (literally typing this with my own dorky glasses rn) and the way his attempts to hide his ridiculously stacked and caked-out body beneath his standard issue merc work clothes simply donot work.

more than that though i love his rapport with lewis over the radio. when lewis is panicking about his tyres or w/e bono is there, calm and soothing but always affectionate, telling lewis that things are going to be ok. lewis is going 200mph and bono is there at a steady 20, keeping him tethered to earth. and i think that's beautiful!!!
