Is that okay if I give you an annotated book instead of saying "I love you"?

“We're all strangers connected by what we reveal, what we share, what we take away--our stories. I guess that's what I love about books--they are thin strands of humanity that tether us to one another for a small bit of time, that make us feel less alone or even more comfortable with our aloneness, if need be.” ― Libba Bray
Who doesn’t love fairy lights?
Fuck me up. 🖤💀🖤💀
The biggest and ugliest lie that we are made to believe is, the portrayal of love should be pure and genuine and considerate, and this and that. Listen young ones! Love itself is purity, genuineness and consideration.
If your definition of love is something that "should be" pure and not something that "is" pure, I'm sorry for you. You are not getting it at all. You're living the disgraceful concept of being in love.
Love itself is a form of understanding, empathy, and having each other's back without asking for it. There is no love without these prerequisites. It can be something else, anything, but not love.

Judge me by the books I read.
