Candy Kittens
These have quickly become my new favourite snack. I'm going to have to be careful.
I'm suprised how they have appeared in almost every shop in my local area thoug. Asda, TKMAXX, sainsbury's. I need to vary my snacks when reading or listening to books though. Any suggestions other than candy kittens?
I also need to figure out how to use my phone so I can post pictures and such myself.
Oreo Thins
Time for another blog about my favorite reading snack!
Oreo’s Facebook and Instagram pages seem to focus heavily on Oreo Thins, and it made me wonder why that could be. There are a lot of reasons why: it could be because maybe that kind of Oreo doesn’t sell as well as the others, it could be because that kind of Oreo is newer than some of the others, it could be because Oreo’s marketing team has a lot of ideas surrounding Oreo Thins, or it could be something else altogether.
Focusing on one kind of Oreo isn’t necessarily a bad thing, especially if the sales are down for that kind, but I think it’s important for Oreo to make sure they give the other flavors more social media attention, too. Focusing too much on one kind of Oreo could annoy followers who maybe don’t like that kind, which could lead to Oreo having less followers on their social media.

Cinnamon Bun Oreo, Anyone?
When you’re reading a good book, having a snack handy can make the experience even more fulfilling. One of my favorite snacks is Oreos. The company has a wide social media presence on websites like Facebook, Twitter,Instagram, and YouTube.
Recently, Oreo released a new limited edition flavor that I’m obsessed with, Cinnamon Bun Oreos. I was told about these from a friend and immediately went to buy a package to try them, and they taste like a creamy, cinnamon piece of heaven. Naturally, I expected to see several social media posts about the new flavor, but they were a bit tricky to track down. Oreo’s Facebook page made a post with a short clip from a video on YouTube about Oreo’s new Wonder Vault, in which the new flavor is mentioned. However, this same campaign has not been mentioned yet on their Twitter or Instagram pages, which is a missed opportunity considering the mass amount of followers each of those accounts has. Fans follow different kinds of social media accounts, so when promoting a new flavor or campaign, it’s important to post about it on a multitude of social media websites to reach more fans, which Oreo hasn’t done with this campaign yet. This campaign is something I will be keeping my eye on in particular to see how it plays out.
