★ Where do you usually go book shopping? My favorite places to go book shopping are bookstores that sell used and new books! We have one about an hour away and I’ve found so many incredible gems there—I would say at least 20 percent of my books are from there, alone. I also shop at Barnes & Noble (especially for signed and exclusive editions!) and whenever we travel I make a point to discover a couple indies in the area! ★ Have you read anything by Susan Dennard yet? I have read @stdennard’s Witchlands series, aside from Witchshadow (🙈), but haven’t read anything else by her (yet!). I did however, have so much fun on Twitter in 2019, participating in the first #SoozYourOwnAdventure that grew to eventually be #TheLuminaries! And to see this book now, as this quite beautiful @illumicrate edition no less, is really something else! The whole aesthetic of this cover and book design … can I live in it? I want to live in it. ★ What are your favorite bookish companies of 2022? One of mine is @the.arcane.society! They are a fantasy and paranormal romance subscription box founded in 2022, and are a sister company to @themystic.box and @bellebookbox! This year they featured @laurathalassa’s Four Horseman series—a series I hold near and dear to my heart, and all of their editions are just so, so, so gorgeous. I ended up subscribing to Mystic Box as well! In a coincidental series of events, I met Kate (owner of The Arcane Society) at LoveNVegas this year, too! We ended up at the same table together and while I was in the restroom Kate and my husband struck up a conversation, and it was a bit like seeing an old friend after years apart.
