Tony stark!Leo and bunker 9 shenanigans?

I got some Iron Man Captain America angst for you!

“Come on, Cap. We got to get you out of here,” Leo muttered. Keeping one arm around Hazel and his other outstretched, blasting Thalia’s shadow lackies. 

Cap was worse for war. Her scars were fading quickly thanks to the serum pumping through her blood. But her eyes were still glazed over. What had Thalia said when she hit the captain? 

I can bring you back. Isn’t that what you want?

Hazel had hesitated then, giving Thalia the opening to phase behind her and clock her in the head with a green energy dagger. 

Her eyes rolled to the back of her head, and she dropped her shield.

 Leo had barely got there in time to stop her from hitting the ground. 

And now Captain America was looking at Leo with the most terrifying expression.

Love. 

“Sammy. You finally came.” Hazel sighed.

“Not Uncle Sammy, Cap. Stay with me here.”

Leo’s ear crackled with the intercom inference. God, he hated fighting Thalia and her weird alien magic technology. He could barely hear Piper asking for a status report. 

“Beauty Queen, we got a stitch.” Leo blasted another shadow with his repulsor beam. “Cap’s down for the count.”

“Hurt? Is she hurt?”

 Leo flipped his helmet up and Hazel took the chance to touch his face, a look of longing on hers.

God. Leo hated this so much. 

“Yeah, real bad.”
