What is the most over-hyped book you read this year?
I think "hyped" is not quite the right word, but I read my first ever Agatha Christie mystery and I unfortunately, did not care for it. That was quite a disappointment.
And I did not enjoy The Spellshop.

10. Favourite classical literature
I do not read a lot of classicla literature anymore. But something I read more recently and really enjoyed was Maurice Leblanc's Arsène Lupin stories. I have not yet read them all, but what I have read was great fun.

this is a very nuanced answer but i am so glad someone asked. to be perfectly honest, teenage Kazzy definitely had a crush on Poe Dameron from Star Wars, and also Clay Moorington from Lego Nexo Knights.
R. Reading Regret
The only reason I don't regret reading Rip Van Winkle is because I like having a least favorite short story, and the only reason I don't regret picking up Smuggler's Run is because I think how horribly dry that book is is inspiring, in a way.

T. Kingfisher: Thornhedge (adult, fantasy)

Marc-Uwe Kling: Der Spurenfinder (MG fantasy-mystery)
Honorable mention to Godkiller by Hannah Kaner which was a total cover pick but turned out to really surprise me.

Nothing new. But I am becoming more fond of SciFi and Graphic Novels
20. What was your most anticipated release? Did it meet your expectations?
I cannot chose between Thornhedge by T. Kingfisher, Heartstopper Vol 5 by Alice Oseman or Winter's Gifts by Ben Aaronovitch. All three books exceeded expectations.

4. Did you discover any new authors that you love this year?
Unfortunately I didn't, I would like to read so many books but I have to restrain myself from buying books as I do not have a lot of space right now.

Not at all! My answers are so sad, sorry ahaha but I had a goal of 50 books but couldn't make it to even 10! Which is one of my lowest points ever lol (I think the lowest of all could have been 2021)

Not this year! I'm so picky with my reading choices ahhah
14. What books do you want to finish before the year is over?
Absolutely the Stolen Heir by Holly Black! Or rereading the Queen of Nothing or ACOMAF.

As for Infernal Devices, I'd have enjoyed it more if not for love triangle. At some point I thought it'd serve everyone fine if Will was with Jem and Tessa was left alone. Do you plan on reading Clare's new book Sword Catcher?
Ahhh, I’m gonna have to take the other side here: I loved the love triangle and the herongraystairs dynamic. To this very day I still think it’s the perfect book love triangle!
Also, I’m 82% into Sword Catcher. I’ll be finishing it tonight. I’m pretty addicted, won’t lie. Full length thoughts on it coming this week (mainly on my Goodreads but I’ll try to copy them on here). I foresee it’s gonna be 4 if not 4.5 stars.
