cue the waterworks! Sally Rooney’s “Normal People” hit me hard. weirdly, i found myself enjoying how flawed the characters were. connell & marianne’s relationship was anything but perfect. it was depressing and awkward at times, yet that didn’t stop me from pressing on. i just wish we could have gotten more of an ending! i recommend this book to lovers of contemporary literature.
