Okay, Im reading Baby Teeth, @stmartinspress thanks for my copy btw. Call me Old Skool but Hannah needs a good "Old Fashioned" spanking. The crap she's pulling with her mom doesn't make any sense. I can't stand it, the mother in me is coming out, Im about half through and boy-o. Dad doesn't seem to listen to his wife, imo his little girl can do no wrong. Well I think I would take a weekend and go away and let him deal with her. Then her not talking and abusing people on top of it. She's a little sociopath. I don't see how she can get kicked out of two schools and no babysitter wants to work for them but he still can't or won't see it! Are you mental guy? Seriously!? This was an amazing story. Showing how two different families with Jamaican roots and how they can have varying outlooks on life. How education, family, and history can play vital roles in their lives. One girl born and raised from an early age in Jamaica, one with her mother and father from there but no real ties, and other stories interwoven bring this book to life. I enjoyed the stories of these characters and how they moves through life. I appreciate this and how I can relate to sone of the goings on in this book.
