Deadshot definitely has mommy issues but he doesn't have daddy issues no not at all. It's perfectly normal that George also happens to be his father's name. He calls his beau Digger or Georgie very different. In fact if you ask him he'll tell you he doesn't get abnormally happy when Digger praises him.

So I recently finished the Suicide Squad Ostrander Run. It was on my list for a while ago but decided to finally read it cause I wanted to read more about Captain Boomerang and I always like to start with the '87 retcons. I definitely wasnt prepared for his characterization there and won't talk about it here but- I think I now have a new guilty pleasure ship. And I just want to know if I'm the only one in this *ship* with me.

So Deadshot going with Boomerang to his mother's funeral was something. I, at first, thought about this ship lightly in the first issues because why was Lawton visiting Boomerang when he managed to be out of prison thanks to the SS missions he was in?

But the thing is that I was not prepared for what was going to happen after Boomerang's mother's funeral issue.

So basically Boomerang took too many drinks and they missed their airplane so now Deadshot's luggage got lost with his outfit and identity???? And he starts to hate on him so fucking much???

So I don't really have any screenshots of the issues but Deadshot starts threatening Boomerang for losing his luggage and Boomerang's just like "Jeez... I'll have to kill him I guess" and it really shouldnt be as funny as it is 😭😭? Because there's also this page when Deadshot has the opportunity to shot a guy that was fighting with Boomerang and he just decides to not help in the most goofy way possible.

After that Boomerang found his luggage (decided to do that instead of trying to kill him idk why) and gave it to him but Deadshot still hates him because he's a jerk in that run so yeah.

Idk I just think they should have a situationship. Unless you think I'm weird for seeking toxic yaoi whenever I go. Then in that case you didnt saw this post and you can judge me only if you do it in silence.

Also do they even have a ship name. How would that work? Boomershot? Idk. I just can't stop thinking about them and needed to share my current obsession with the world.
