No one is supposed to ask for justification or explanation of any condition a patient might have to qualify them for a 2nd booster, but I won't be surprised if the pharmacy I'm scheduled for tomorrow tries to anyway. (Hell, the HEALTH DEPARTMENT put Brian thru a rigorous interview about himself, when he wasn't even there for it yet--he was trying to get information for me.) I am qualified, but not in any of the words or phrases in the examples of qualification:
"my pulmonologist said to get it because my past covid infections have caused increasingly-significant long covid that a third infection could be legally disabling"
"well then didn't he give you the 2nd booster"
"because he wants me to get the same brand I've previously had and they only issue the other brand"
"not our problem"
...that's how it's going to go if asked and I give the literal, word for word answer. Which they don't have a right to in the first place, but ofc I'm going to give them SOME sort of answer if asked because I'm not risking being turned away for not having an "acceptable" excuse.
I just don't know how to explain my compromised state in a way they won't start shit over if it becomes necessary.
