Summary:
His thoughts were running from him during a meeting and he realized, since Madelyn was gone no one was there to tell him how great he’s been doing.
Homelander has fantasies about Starlight and Starlight has thoughts about sitting in his chair.
Homelander glanced over during the meeting at Starlight. She had been doing this annoying thing with her mouth: putting her thumb almost in her mouth, probably chewing on her nail.
Starlight felt the weight of Homelander's gaze and shifted uncomfortably in her seat. She wasn't aware of her habit of fiddling with her thumbnail using her mouth, and she tried to stop it, not wanting to give Homelander any more fuel for his mockery.
He tried to focus on Ashley, but Starlight kept pulling his gaze. Starlight's lips looked soft, and Homelander struggled to keep his attention on Ashley's words. His eyes darted to Starlight's mouth, his mind wandering to places he knew he shouldn't.
Homelander's mind began to race with more inappropriate thoughts as he stared at Starlight's lips. Given their power dynamic, he couldn't deny his attraction to her but knew it was wrong.
The voice in Homelander's head told him he could take whatever or whoever he wanted and make them do what they said. A wicked idea came into his head as he looked at her pouty lips. He couldn't shake a specific impulse as it kept eating at him and his need to possess Starlight. He wanted to ravage her, maybe go a step further, as he was tormented by those lips of hers. The desire for her was trying to overpower him, yet he forced himself to remain in control.
Homelander's imagination ran wild, and he could almost smell lip gloss on Starlight's pretty mouth or taste her glossy lips pressed against his or her pretty mouth wrapped around his fingers. He could practically feel the heat of her body pressed against his. He started losing it and was trying not to end the meeting just to have her to himself.
Homelander shifted his eyes to Starlight's small, soft, feminine hands. For some reason, he compared them to Madelyn's. He was surprised they had some differences, but simultaneously, it amazed him. He wondered if they would be like Madelyn's and rougher when she put her fingers in his mouth or if Starlight would be gentler. Since the thoughts plagued him, he wanted to follow through and find out.
He remembered The Deep saying Homelander was her 'favorite' Supe and had to chuckle. But he immediately thought that Starlight would let him lay his head on her lap if that was the case. The idea of having approval from her, of hearing her say he was a good boy , sent a spark of pleasure down his spine. He just couldn't ignore her innocence and how pure she was beside his dark, wounded self.
The image of her softly speaking to him as she ran a hand through his hair and told him how much she loved him crossed his mind. The idea that he could let my guard down and be looked after by her was a rousing thought. He immediately brushed this random thought aside, remembering who he was and that he didn't need such things. He was the fucking Homelander; he didn't need affection.
Madelyn was no longer around, and he felt lonely more often. Although he looked strong outside, that was not the case. His favorite drug—public idolization and praise—was missing from his life; he didn't quite know how to live without it.
Ultimately, he was The Homelander , so none of it mattered. He hated it, but secretly, he knew he desired it: someone who would delight in and care about everything he did.
As Homelander's eyes landed on Starlight again, he couldn't help but imagine her complimenting and appreciating him the way Madelyn used to. He couldn't help but wonder if she would fill that void and if she would give him the validation he longed for. Part of him wanted her attention after the meeting.
Homelander mentally fought to rid himself of that horrible idea. But being touched by Starlight, sullying her innocence, and having the opportunity to be worshiped was hard to ignore. Ashley was talking, but he could not focus on anything. Finally, the meeting adjourned, and those final words lingered around the room.
The other members seated around the table were all getting up and leaving. When Homelander approached Starlight, they were alone. His voice was calm, but his eyes looked desperate. "Starlight, got a minute?"
Not understanding what was happening, Starlight shot to her feet when Homelander spoke to her. His steely stare caught her attention, and she had a slight inkling of what he had in mind. "Uh, sure. What do you need?"
Homelander led Starlight to a secluded corner of the room, away from the prying eyes and ears of the other members of the Seven. He took a deep breath, uncharacteristically nervous. "I just… I wanted to speak with you. About something. It's... kinda personal."
Starlight was fidgeting, "Oh... am I in trouble?"
Homelander chuckled, his lips stretching into a slight grin. "No, you're not in trouble. No, not this time," he said with a playfulness tone. He took another step toward her, looking at her. "I mean… It's personal, and you are the one I want to talk to."
Starlight swallowed hard, her nervousness slowly turning into confusion. She couldn't think why Homelander would suddenly want to talk to her about something personal. "Oh. Okay. Um, what is it...?" She asked tentatively.
"That I was doing well running the Seven. To see to it that all of us are in our right places and appearances, right?"
Starlight seemed a little surprised and nodded. She had not anticipated that Homelander would be asking her feelings about his leadership. "Yes, of course," she said very slowly. "You're doing very well. The Seven looks great, and you're ensuring we all do our part."
Homelander let out a breath he didn't realize he had been holding. He was grateful for her claim, which relieved and excited him. Hearing her say he was doing a good job caused him to step closer, his body a few inches from hers. "There was something else," he admitted, so softly it was almost possible to miss the vulnerability he tried to hide his tone. "A question... I have a question for you..."
Starlight stared at Homelander with an odd mix of intrigue and worry. She did not know what he was going to ask, but the softness in his voice was immediate cause for concern. "What is it?" Her voice was barely audible, soft.
He took a deep breath and locked eyes with her. He kept a straight face, but she could tell he was anxious. "A thought that recently popped into my head and I can't get rid of..." He spoke in a low tone and carefully, "It is.... about you. And me."
Starlight's eyes widened slightly, her heart rate picking up. He was confusing and left her anxious. "About us ?" She croaked, barely above a whisper. "What do you mean?"
Homelander took another step closer until he stood before her, their bodies almost touching. He could feel the heat radiating off her body, and he resisted the urge to touch her. "I mean... I've been thinking about you. A lot," he confessed, his voice almost a whisper. "And I need you to do something for me."
Starlight swallowed hard, her mind racing with possibilities of what he could ask of her. But deep down, she had a feeling she knew what was coming. "What... what is it that you want me to do?" She asked, her voice shaky.
Homelander took another step closer, his body now practically pressed against hers. He reached out and gently brushed a strand of hair away from her face, his touch sending a shiver down her spine. "I want you to..." he began, his voice barely above a whisper, "I want you to praise me."
Starlight's eyes widened in surprise, but there was something else in her expression that she couldn't quite place. "P-praise you?" She repeated, her voice almost a squeak. "Like... how?"
Homelander leaned in even further as his breath hit her ear, "Like you mean it. Tell me I'm a good leader. Tell me I'm doing a good job. And..." he stopped and took her face into his hand. "Tell me I'm a good boy."

ANNIE!!! Hi! Can I request Maeve, Homelander, and Starlight threeway? So, let me set the scene. Starlight, baby supe is under Ezekiel. Ezekiel and Homelander has backdoor deals with baby supes. Homelander and Maeve are together, sort of. He knows about Elena but he knows he and Maeve had fun banging. So, however you can fit this in.
This is my 4th time as of august 12th requesting this. Please Annie. If I could write, I would.
This is part 2. I forgot to add that Starlight goes along with everything. Maeve and Homelander is like her favorite supes and she is happy to be there. Maybe some praise kinks? Good girls here and there. However you write it Annie. Pls
I'm sorry it was almost a month responding to this. Broke my wrist and writing and stuff has been... weird. Any way, a little of the chapter and the rest on Ao3.
Meeting Her Heroes (Maeve/Starlight/Homelander)
Maeve was tired of being a perfect partner, tired of photoshoots and events where she had to fake herself with Homelander. All those fake smiles and forced touches were taking a toll on her. Finally, one evening, Maeve had enough and cornered Homelander beside where they would hold their meet and greet.
He looked over at Maeve then, eyes cold and assessing. "What, Maggie? Mean to tell me you can't just pretend for a few hours?"
Maeve clenched her hands at her sides, furious. "It is not just a few hours, John—every day. It's every day. I'm just… exhausted from every press event, interview, and every piece of shit lie we have to believe that's 'in our best interest' as a couple."
Homelander chuckled. There was this nasty curl to his lips, the corners of his mouth quivering. "Oh, poor Maggie. Being with the most powerful man on the planet must be so exhausting. It's tiring dealing with you, too. In the beginning, you were fun . Now? Jesus fucking Christ."
Maeve's jaw clenched, but she would not be pushed away. "The thing is, John, it's been all about power for you. That's all there is. You don't care about me; you're worried about what I'm projecting to the world. How we're a perfect image couple."
Just as Homelander was going to snap on her, a familiar face came into view, and he wasn't alone. He hated those lower-ranked supe freaks that Vought paired with, especially Ezekiel. Who in the world would think God is the reason for Supes? He was a God himself.
Ezekiel was coming to meet them—the charismatic man on the verge of being arrogant—smiling confidently, with only a few other low-ranking Supes trailing behind him, desperately trying to catch the Leader of the Seven's gaze.
Homelander and Maeve stared at the tiny, sheepish blonde standing behind Ezekiel. Their eyes locked for one long moment, and something seemed like understanding fluttered between them.
Ezekiel smiled wryly at the sight of their brief shared moment. "Ah, Homelander, Maeve. I thought I'd drop on in and introduce you to someone." He motioned to the blonde supe behind him; her eyes darted between them nervously.
Homelander never took his eyes off the blonde, appraising her. "Who's this?" He inquired, his tone mixed with curiosity and the tiniest amount of possessive questioning.
Ezekiel grinned and was entertained by the friction between them. "Meet Annie, one of our rising stars in Capes for Christ. She can influence electricity... A pretty useful power, eh?"
Annie stared back at them, brown eyes big and skittish as she nervously pulled at the hem of her skirt. "She can tell you her Supe name, but her favorite Supes growing up were you two! And I told her I could pull some strings and have her meet you guys."
Maeve felt pity for the obviously ill-at-ease and anxious young Supe. Meanwhile, Homelander was intrigued, plainly. He circled in on Annie and looked her over. "Is that so? You idolize us, huh?" Homelander said in a voice thick with praise and mockery. He leaned in close, gentle fingers tilting Annie's chin to get a better look at her, a predatory grin spreading across his face.
Maeve had gently moved his gloved hand from Annie's chin with a roll of her eyes. "We're your favorites, Annie?" She asked softly.
Annie raised her eyebrows in amazement as Maeve gently moved Homelander's hand out of the way. "Y-y-es," she gaped. "I…I thought you were both the greatest Supes… And it's..." She stopped for a second. "It's an honor to meet you..."
Homelander chuckled at this—the sound made Annie shiver. "Glad to know we have fans. Especially a pretty little thing like you." He ran his eyes over her, his gaze stopping and lingering over her body.
