I'm gonna be honest i find the "back in my day people weren't so easily offended" crowd funny because like. did you know what offended people back in your day? did you hear a lot of Discourse in childhood??? tv news and whatnot were getting big and annoying when i was a teen so i heard a lot about people being offended by disney movies and harry potter (for having magic, which is satanic). people were offended by dnd in the 80s and long hair on men in the 60s. some people get offended by facial hair (my mom). but before i was a teen? as a kid? bill clinton. obviously this is because bill clinton was the only offensive thing happening in the 90s and not because I was a child with Republican parents, and obviously everyone else who remembers their youth at all also remembers everything that offended everyone at the time and was not distracted with, you know, being a child.
