i came out of my mother small and weak, and craving all of the other things that had made their way into her body that were more important than i ever would be.

Hmm...
Okay, am I right to be so worried about Evvy?
She is 3 months old now. She has only just gotten off the NG tube and only just gotten off the methadone. She still struggles a bit with feeding and reguires slow flow teats on her bottles otherwise she will choke, it is unknown if she will ever be able to eat solids.
She cannot support her own head, she cannot bear any weight on her legs, she cannot roll over. She has not yet started to babble or make any “happy noises” other than the very rare laugh. It is only silence or screaming.
She is undergoing a lot of tests right now to see if there is something, She doesn’t even kick her legs unless you tickle them (so she can feel, but even when you tickle them, her leg movements are quite small and jerky.)
