I always wanted to know that boy

Who plays his acoustic guitar

And very naturally becomes the centre of attention

The source of joy and warmth

Despite the born fire crackling right in the middle

I wanted to be his eyes' focus

I wanted him to sing that song for me

Or flash a smile at least

It took me long to understand

That I could be that source of illumination and melody

I could be the girl who plays her acoustic guitar for everybody

But life isn't ideal or that simple

Most times it just turns out another way than you planned or wished

So from now on I will be that person who gets up and dances

The stars are looking

The fire is burning

The music is playing its magic

And me?

I'm loving this life as it is now
