Buying a Christmas present! || Alpha/Omega AU || CLOSED
It was freezing cold outside the buildings of the town and every now and then there were a few snowflakes being seen. Nevertheless, the city was busy all over and over. It was december and, hell, it was almost even Christmas! So the people had to get their Christmas presents for their beloved ones.
Bones, for his part, didn't really need, nor like Christmas. Not always, at least. Because Christmas wasn't always very pleasant for the lonely Alpha, having merely no one to really anticipate the solemn atmosphere. Of course, the black.haired man was always with a few of his friends, since he didn't had a real family, but it was nevertheless getting more and more exhausting being every damn december occupied to buy Chirstmas presents and help his friends to get a few good ones for their own beloved ones. It was seriously tiring, but, however, the doctor kept up with doing it over, and over, and over, no matter how much it actually annoyed him to do so.
This day, nonetheless, was different from the others. Because Leonard wasn't occupied with buying any presents, or prepare the whole flat due to the celebration days... He was indeed going to get an early Christmas present, bought by one of his closest friends, Spock, another Alpha.
"So, what's it? What will I get? A watch? C'mon, it's a watch, right?" Len's mood was, indeed, quite good. He was excited to get his present already now, instead of in a few days, and he was determined to get it out of the other Alpha. What was it? He seriously couldn't imagine anything, and a watch seemed to be the closest...
"It is not a watch, Leonard. And I recommed to simply... let yourself be surprised by what I am going to gift you," was Spock's only answer, and as usually, he seemed utterly calm while saying his.
McCoy let out a huffed noise, though it was obviously meant playful, as they now entered quite large building. Spock quickly went to open the door for his friend, and with a thankful nod Leo stepped inside. He was immediately met with a quite big crowd full of people, and it was comfortable warm inside, though -- judging after the many different smells -- it were only Alphas and Betas. While Bones pulled his leathery gloves off his hands, he narrowed his eyes and took a few inquiring looks around. Where the hell were they? It almost seemed like a sort of market.
A few minutes later, a bell was ringing, and the previously quite busy talking of the crowd slowly ebbed away, while they all took a seat at the many chairs being set in front of a well visible stage, where another Beta was standing at a lectern, clearing his throat and testing the microphone, so it would work once they had started.
Spock, currently occupied with pulling off his scarf, instantly took Leonard's arm and guided them over to two chairs at the good middle of the whole room and told him to sit down. Bones took another wary look around, brows furrowed and scarf and gloves resting in his lap, as it suddenly hit him -- "An auction? You're dragging me to an auction?"
