What do you think is going on with Himawari? 🤔

Daemon thinks she's got some kind of "Intense Power".

But apparently it's something far more unique than Boruto's powers because despite being Himawari's older Brother, Having Jougan, and having Momoshiki inside of him, Daemon somehow was unable to sense this feeling in Boruto

The only thing Himawari has that Boruto does not is the Byakugan. So that definitely has to be the reason why Daemon was shook by Himawari.

But that only brings up more question since, why would a simple Byakugan stir up Daemon so much? 🤔

I mean, it could be the Byakugan. His power works by reflecting intent to hurt/kill back at the individual. But Gentle Fist works by disabling chakra points, not damaging flesh directly, so it might create a weird feedback loop in his abilities. We haven't seen him interact with any other Hyuugas, so it's possible anyone with strong enough Hyuuga/Otsutsuki blood would freak him out. And it's obvious Himawari inherited more of her mother's abilities than Boruto did.

It's also possible that her knocking Naruto out on coronation day was more than a joke. In the anime, she did gentle fist right on Naruto's Tailed Beast seal, and Kurama reacted at the same time as Naruto. Which...he shouldn't have?

Naruto's been punched in the stomach plenty of times and it never affected Kurama before. But Himawari was somehow able to "lock on" to Kurama's chakra even though it was inside Naruto's body. Maybe she can do something similar to Otsutsuki chakra? I doubt the writers would let her target Momoshiki, but Daemon got his powers outside of karma, so Himawari might be a threat to him and Eida.
