I’ve adopted them from these people! However most of them that are BoeSomeone are based off of the Crybaby line!
I do have the physical versions of them- they are all dolls technically that I have! That’s how I adopted them in the first place! Either making them by hand or buying the bitty from Boesomeones shop!
I noticed no one was particularly doing the original bitties in matchups, rps, or just adoption scenarios in general, so I figured I’d lend a hand in those wanting to adopt the og bitties! Ask box is open! feel free to inbox even while the blog is under construction!
Hi! I was wondering if that boss bitty, bat is doing better? I want to say hi to him and possibly give him a hug
He’s… Improving.
The first day was the hardest, Bat was pretty much inconsolable when his rescuer had to go and he was left with us. I tried to get them to stay longer, since he’d decided to trust them and was obviously attached, but I think his clinging was scaring them and- Anyway, Bat was kind of a panicky mess that whole first day. I thank all the little gods and goddesses for Halim’s patience, he ended up basically toting Bat around the whole time so he wouldn’t feel quite so alone.
Oddly enough, Jasper, our resident King who’s been recovering in the medbay, seems to have become quite protective of the little fellow. Halim accidentally left him with Jasper when we had a few medical emergencies, and while I’m not a hundred percent sure what happened, Jasper apparently decided Bat was one of His and gets quite agitated when he has to do physical therapy and Bat can’t be with him in case he falls over.
We finally managed to get Bat cleaned up and in some new clothing just yesterday, he was too scared to get himself washed up by himself but was too embarrassed to ask anyone to stay, so he just wasn’t bathing there for a bit, but Saffron and Coil (mostly Coils) managed to coax him into the sink when they were visiting with Jasper. I think that was the calmest I’ve ever seen him, splashing around with that cheerful little Krait.
Anyway, you were asking if you could visit, and I’ll have to ask him, but I don’t see why he wouldn’t want to at least see who’s asking after him. Apologies in advance if he gets a bit clingy, it’s only been a week and separation anxiety is a persistent sort of issue.

“Hey Bat…?”
The Boss jolted slightly before looking up, sockets wide for a split second before he managed to calm himself. He’d been working on a rather complex puzzle, metal loops and bits of chain twined with small colored rubber pieces on a smooth wooden base, and he was reluctant to set it down even with Cell approaching him. Part of him desperately wanted to drop everything and run to the human, feel the warmth of their skin and Kind SOUL, but he was learning that doing so wasn’t entirely a good thing with his unbalanced mental state.
Thankfully, he wasn’t actually alone, as evidenced by the quiet hiss off to his left, blanket shuffling as the battered King flared his hood just enough to peer out from under his warm cocoon. Cell smiled at the singular deep red eyelight that peered out at them from under the blanket, lowering down to kneel next to the low cot where Jasper had been napping.
“Hello, Jasper, it’s good to see you too. Mind if I talk to Bat for a moment?”
A slight narrowing of the socket, and the full sized lamia glanced towards the Boss, though he didn’t much look like a Boss anymore in his slightly too big black turtleneck jumper and long short with knitted red leggings pulled up over his knees. The bitty’s gloves had been pretty much unsalvageable, ripped to bits from wear and anxiety, leaving him to wrap his hands in bandages until they managed to make a pair to fit him, and his large scarf was still being mended. Bat flexed his bandaged fingers, idly flicking one of the metal loops before he gave a nod, a motion Jasper copied before settling back down in his napping cocoon. Cell’s small smile softened, and Bat shivered a little, feeling a gentle wave of tenderness from the human’s magic aura.
It was no wonder the human managed to endear themselves to so many, what with their SOUL practically oozing comfort and good intentions with every breath. And, from what he’d overheard from the other bitties, this was them holding back!
“Well, Bat, this is entirely up to you and what you want to do, but there’s someone here who heard about what you’ve been through and they wanted to say hello. Would you be up for a visitor, or should I tell them to go home for now?”
Bat stared, puzzle forgotten. He had a what? Since when did- But he was- Why would-?!
Cell sat quiet, letting the Boss think things over, and smiled when he eventually gave a slow nod, setting down his puzzle to get to his feet. Jasper hissed softly, displeased to have his charge moving away, but he calmed when Cell offered Bat their hand rather than moving to grab like so many did, letting the bitty climb aboard at his own pace.
“I’ll keep an eye on everything, Jasper, don’t you fret. Honestly, I promise I’ll have someone come get you if Bat gets stressed, okay?”
The King eyed the human for a long moment, then gave a low grumble before fully secreting himself away under the blankets. It was hard not to trust a human that made that kind of promise, their SOUL practically shining through their skin…

The time had come. You knew for a while that it was going to happen, but you hadn’t told the boys in hopes that just springing it on them would be better for their anxiety in the long run. Less time to be anxious about it, right? That’s how you functioned, at least, but it seemed they did not feel the same way you did.
You’d called them into the kitchen, having to call Essex away from his newly beloved game on the computer (and why your edgy emo son loved the magical world of Stardew Valley was beyond you) more than twice. Remy had come pretty much right away when you yelled softly for them all, but you’d finally had to wait a full ten minutes for Erik to come from...wherever it was he’d been.
Your hands were shaking, you knew they were, you hated this as much as they surely were going to so you hid the shaking by clasping them together at your waist. Remy noticed, but deigned not to say anything as you got your voice.
“Okay, I uh. I needed to tell you guys something, something important? About today??” You started, only for Erik to scoff.
“Yes, of course human, why else would you have called us away from our important activities?” He said it as if you were being stupid, which, honestly wasn’t all that surprising.
Deciding to just bite the bullet, you came out with it. “Yeah, uh. You’ve all got vet visits. Today.”
Well, that was apparently the absolute worst way you could have told them, because not only did Essex start having a panic attack on the damn table, not only did Erik start screaming obscenities at you, but Remy, your sleepy baby boy, disappeared in a snap of magic, never to be seen again.
Okay that was just you being melodramatic, but really how the hell were you supposed to deal with this?! You weren’t great at calming other people’s panic attacks, you hated being screamed at, and Remy… you weren’t sure you wanted to know what’d caused his panic just at the words “vet visit.”
Deciding that the screaming had to stop first and foremost, you redirected your attention to Erik. Taking a deep breath, you waited for him to pause in his tirade to take on of his own before you let loose. “BOSS!”
Erik winced, your voice going a little more high pitched than you’d meant it to, but it did the job since he glared at you instead of continuing to scream. “What?!”
Trying to hide your grimace, you used reason. “I have to take you guys to get checkups every six months. It’s literally the law, I’d lose you guys if I didn’t do it.”
Erik gave you the stink eye, but the fact that he didn’t start screaming again gave you hope for the situation. “I am aware of the laws surrounding our kind, human. It is…” He paused, a grimace coming over his expression. “...An unfortunate circumstance that we are required to do this. None of us have had… decent experiences at these Veterinary places.” He spat the word like it was a poison, your lip quirking up before you could stop it.
“Well…” You started, “Would it help if it was at the shelter I got you guys from, and not an actual vet’s clinic?”
Erik stared up at you in something similar to wonder, before he shook it off, nodding firmly. “Yes, that would make a world of difference. I will retrieve Remy.” And with that he turned and hopped off the damn table, leaving you with a still trembling, still weeping Essex.
Trying to keep your voice soothing, but not babying, you ducked down to get a little more on eye level with him, one hand coming up to brace his back. “Did you hear all that, dude?”
Essex nodded, though the tears didn’t let up much. He hiccuped, attempting to speak, only to squeak out a quiet “They never let us go back with anyone…”
You sighed, wondering how many panic attacks Essex’d had while alone in a sterile white clinic room, being poked and prodded by some prick in a white coat. “Well I won’t stand for it. Not this time or any other. If they say I can’t come back with you, or Remy or Erik, I’ll sit in the floor and scream.”
Essex laughed a watery chuckle, which you counted as a win. Eventually he raised his arms up, your hands coming in an instant to scoop him up and to your chest, one of his favorite spaces to lay. Some days he would snarl and bite, and he’d claw you right over the heart, but he always washed it later when he was sure you weren’t looking.
Soon enough he was calm again, which left you waiting for Erik and Remy. You could only wonder what kind of conversation the two of them were having, but you hoped it wouldn’t end in bruises.
Hello! If it’s ok with you can I please get some recommendations for my version of UFell!Toriel? She’s cautious and wary of strangers but isn’t afraid to step in to help/protect them if she senses they’re a decent person and is in need of it. She’s has pretty high maternal instincts and is still quite mother but a ‘clearly deeply loves and cares about you but is done with your shit’ way. She in all honesty needs a bitty that’s gonna help her take care of herself as she often neglects(1/2)
/2 herself in favor of taking care of others.
There are three bitties I’d recommend depending on her state of mind.
Boss: This bitty is good for those who need a kick in the pants to do better. They are no nonsense, but do have a soft spot for those unable to care from themselves. Excellent protectors and caretakers. They like to be “head of the household” in a way. Surprisingly good with children and pets.
Poppy: fatherly type all around. A more patient bitty. He’ll gently chastise her for disregarding her own personal health. Far more quiet than a boss. He’ll probably try to “dad” her rather than be seen as a companion. Also everyone else in the house will have another parent.
G: This is a good choice if she still wants someone she can somewhat “take care of” while still getting some help where she needs it. G is another fatherly bitty, but would rather listen to problems than assist. He prefers to assist with things like chores (they all love to cook!)
Due to her mental state and neglect of herself, I cannot recommend a bitty that isn’t independent in one way or another.
