I had an idea for the final boss in ultrakill.
So the level is titled "Every last drop" and it consists of a long hallway displaying your rank on all the stages, as well as a lot of terminals(47 of them) At the end of it is a single wretch, the weakest enemy in the game, and it just runs from you. Never attacks.
After you kill it party confetti flies and low effort celebration noises occur and a banner falls saying "congratulations! Hell is empty!"
And then you hear a slow clap as the room then flows into a single point as hell takes a humanoid form, slowly clapping.
It then congratulates you on emptying hell and killing it. Oh its not dead yet but it will starve now. And it's glad that you did so. It allowed you to. After all, hell is pointless suffering. And before it wasn't pointless, it was for hells survival, but now hell is killing itself, making it pointless.
It then tells you to kill it and take every last drop, but it won't give it to you. You have to suffer first. And begins the hardest boss fight.
Phase 1 is fast paced, with unparroeables galore and a few undodgeable attacks. Hell has a chunky hp bar, one of the biggest in the game. At 1/4 of his bar left he stops goes, let's go down memory lane. And
Phase 2 brings you to the first boss room in the game. You fight that boss and go to the next. Repeat for all the bosses, prime sanctums as well. Also if you die here you go back to the start of phase 1. When you beat the last boss you go to
Phase 3, which is just phase 1 but faster, you lose half your Healthcare, and enemies continuously spawn with no limit. Die here and it's still back to phase 1. Don't worry. You get a checkpoint after this phase. Because
Phase 4.
He just summons. EVERY. SINGLE. BOSS. AT. ONCE. And his hp doesn't fall below 1 until all the bosses are killed. (Note: the earthmover is a boss, but only the static security system, not the cylinder brain room). And that's it. Also as the bosses die the music slows down and instruments drop off until only hell is left and the music stops. Just silence.
Is it hard? Yes. Is it unfair? Yes. Is I torture? Yes. Why? As hell said at the start of the fight, you have to suffer for it.
