Thanks to @marshalllespaulfan for inspiring me to bust out my 30-something year old #Boss EQ #pedal today. He posted a video (ironically, using my own 1964 #Fender #Champ!) today showing how one of these extremely inexpensive #pedals can fix up a situation the sound is not quite perfect. . Now I have always had trouble making single coil pickups sound good. I think I just don't have the talent and #humbuckers or even #P90s are naturally thicker-sounding and much more forgiving to my ham-fisted "playing". However, after watching @marshalllespaulfan's video today, I was reminded that I too have an old eq pedal, and so I plugged it in...and like magic my #Tele is now sounding so much larger at low volume! It didn't take much...swipe to photo 3...just a bit more on the bottom end to thicken it up a bit and I'm pleased as punch with the sound.
