Terrible accident today at #PrideBoston during the parade near the #bostoncommoms Police on motorcycles were speeding through the parade while responding to a call of another officer experiencing heat-related issues. The officers on motorcycles struck two pedestrians and then collided into each other. One officer and one pedestrian we're "walking wounded" and the other officer and pedestrian were taken away by ambulance. A Boston EMS arrived on scene shortly after in a golf cart, also speeding toward the crowd, almost hitting other pedestrians near a sidewalk while arriving on scene. It was a terrible accident that could have gone a lot worse but #BostonPD #BostonEMS definitely could have handled and triaged the event better. (at Boston Public Garden)
