#16 Steel and Rye

Yikes! Vacation totally derailed my blogging. While we have been keeping up with the eating/dining part I haven't kept up with this! My bad! In early May we ventured to Milton/Dot line to Steel and Rye. Definitely one of our dining highlights! One of my best girlfriends gave us a gift card as part of our wedding gift for this restaurant project and it was one of my favorite gifts we received! I started with the Spring Aspargus soup- delish! And Matt had the arrancini (riceballs) they also serve you delicious assorted breads, including Rye of course. For my main, I went with the sky high chicken pot pie that is quite the presentation with the most yummy crust. Chicken, potato, peas, mushrooms, and leeks in a delicious not too creamy thick broth. Comfort food at its best. Seriously awesome and I highly recommend! Matt opted for a burger that didn't disspoint. We finished with an Italian favorite, affogato. Crumbled biscotti, chocolate chips, and espresso poured over vanilla icecream. The bar area was hoppin. With outdoor seating available in the summers, season menus that change every few months. I can't wait to come back! I also heard the Brunch is phenomenal!
