I just want my fuckin Tuchel back
you know, i don’t want to badmouth bosz bc i think he’s a really good manager. his tactics usually seem to work out and we kept a clean sheet in all three buli matches so far. but absolutely do not understand why he felt the need to experiment with the tactics and line-up today. obviously, something was missing in the match against freiburg and marc and schmelle were out for today (and god knows how long) but to do such dramatic changes is....... let’s say not ideal. ok, andrij scored our only goal today but to include him and jeremy in the starting xi for the first time when they have never played with the others in a match before??? (andrij only played like 5 mins, that doesn’t count) in a champions league match??? WHY???? like don’t get me wrong i’m happy they got to play (also shinji, mo and ömer) but how does the saying go? never change a winning team!
so i don’t think i can say i miss tuchel in that sense (generally, i still miss him) since he did exactly the opposite. he changed his team pretty much every match but somehow it worked out most of the time. i just think we need more time to judge bosz’s system and way of working but sadly, it backfired today.... ://
