is anyone else getting attacked by bots? looks like this (tw for misogyny and explicit language)

I'll report it but curious if there are more targets!

After, and this is not an exaggeration, THREE THOUSAND new bot follows in one week my notifications are slowly coming back to normal and my last five followers in a row were ALL. HUMAN!?

I'm so happy, I may actually try and clear them out a little a day but there no mass report button, tumblr support just gave a generic 'block and report' answer, and it's genuinely more than 10hrs work to block them all

apparently swarms now attack users who make 1,500 note posts on popular tags and I have been talking non stop about #barbie

Still worth it.

Decided to start my own collection of bots I've reported and blocked. 😌

I don’t understand what does the person behind those bot accounts gain from all this spam they do on us.

And i super don’t understand how tumblr doesn’t have an algorithm to detect those accounts.

@staff don’t you have one to detect nsfw posts? Then how much difficult it is to write a script that can tell you possible bot accounts and then have one person to tell apart bot accounts from people who are silent followers.
