OH MY GOSH. I DID NOT EXPECT THE EPISODE TO BE SO OUTSTANDING. Not just good, but so, so special. The fact the opening starts again only when Coco gets better. The non-stop exchange of ideas between Tartah and Coco. Tartah’s grey vision helping us to understand his struggle — and his pure moments of joy when he does magic, and it looks beautiful, powerful, no matter the color. The scene with the boat! The voice acting, specifically of Tartah! Joshua Waters perfectly embodying two-sided Qifrey! How does this series manage to surprise with every episode? It’s visible with how much love it was done.

Part of the reason Grace bikes to work is bc he is deathly afraid of being on the bus. he cannot for the life of him explain why, he just knows it's Bad for his brain (anxiety haverrr) he's always worried about being late or missing the bus because there's so many more people involved in a bus trip than if he just bikes the 30m there and back between his apartment and his school...

I can't help but think about a crossover episode of malevolent threshold and the faroe au im writing.

Like, faroe and jane (somewhere in part 1 before their character and relationship development) are sent back to Arkham, thinking that its their own. She stumbles into her old apartment to patch up without noticing threshold!Faroe and Arthur having tea as they stare and wonder who tf this is. (Probably taking place early in the threshold series and while our little scholar in on some sort of school break).

Both the au!faroe and og!Arthur explain their trama and threshold!Faroe takes it surprisingly well (which the bar is pretty low. She doesn’t take the information in the best way still, but at least she's not running and screaming that there's two insane people in the apartment)

Og!Arthur tries to bond a little with au!faroe but she is not having it (dad resentment and all of that)

Later in the week, after getting to know each other, a random book arrives and threshold!faroe picks it up and opens it in the living room where they all are. And BOOM: Entity swap.

Threshold!faroe gets jane, au!faroe gets john, and Arthur gets his eyes and having to deal with faroe².

Threshold!faroe is super freaked out, and is trying to adjust to her new blindness. She also is very upset after finding out that jane is in fact a very nice little entity and is not as terrible as au!faroe states. This ends up with them bonding like two peas in a pod.

Au!faroe however is quite aggravated with john because of how stubborn and argumentative he could be. They fight a lot and end up in a physical tussle surprisingly a lot.

And Arthur is just there for the ride, trying to keep one from sobbing about Jane's sad life, and stopping the other from getting in another automobile reck. He also has to deal with the fact that he travels without his extra voice and pair of eyes guiding him, and the loneliness of the fact that he has no one to talk to if hes the only body in the room.

It would eventually get fixed by the Manager some how and stuff, but I think the au would be funny lol.
