'There came a point eventually where it terrified me just how far I’d go to protect them. I didn’t know what to call that; I still don’t. Maybe that was true love. Or maybe I just couldn’t survive losing one more thing. And sometimes it was too much, the weight of the world—of life as we knew it—on their shoulders and the weight of their secret resting on mine. One fuck up and Decepticons would be the last thing we’d need to worry about. One fuck up and the world we were fighting to protect would turn on us. It’s hard not to develop a certain hatred for other people after seeing them as such a threat for so long. Eventually everyone’s eyes start to stare for a little too long, always a knife waiting in the dark, and before you know it: you feel more like an alien on this planet than the actual aliens hiding out in your home. I painted on this between every other thing I have going on lol so it took like a month and a half lol. Still figuring out Wyatt's tattoos. I'd LIKE for her to have tats all the way down to her fingers but it's just a matter of figuring out what she would have lol. I think these two I designed are gonna stay.
