On the one wing, I can absolutely understand not wanting the Divine Beasts around anymore, after all that happened. On the other, I don't entirely care and feel rather miffed on Medoh's account. Especially since most of the danger of them being possessed again was apparently gone within a lifetime of their destruction! I'm sure they could've found some use, even with the Calamity gone. Transport, maybe?
