ever since starting The Wheel of Time I've been keeping a sort of reading journal with an entry for each chapter. I knew from the start if I were to continue the whole series I would get grey hair by the end of it and needed to have a precise summary of each book

today I was doing this (in the middle of Book 7 A Crown of Swords) but because i've been extremely busy and physically exhausted I only manage to do it every 4/5 days and need to fill 2 to 3 chapters at a time. These books are an interesting experience, you know you've read 30 pages but not a lot happened (but still it was super fun!) and so when you make a summary it turns out like this : (no major spoilers ahead) :

entry chapter 17: "Mat escapes an attempt of murder and recieves a warning note concerning Nynaeve and Elayne. [....]"

I'm the furthest to what you could consider a Mat fan but .. got to admit , this young man has a lot on his shoulders.

(the [...] from this chapter is actually SOOOO FUN. Reading Aes Sedai being petty is basically my scientific observation of the day)
