What is your favorite book?
My favorite book, other than the Bible (which as spiritual nourishment, seems to be in some other category), is The Joy Luck Club. No other novel has touched me as much as that one has and does upon each rereading. Jurassic Park would be a very close second, however!
Your responses are below (with a few notes from me):
I have a huge list for this. Currently it would be Indigo Spell by Richelle Mead, but I love basically all her books.
Very nice - I read a little of the summary. It sounds really interesting!
At the moment, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time
Ummm, can I go with all the Chronicles of Narnia? :D
Why, yes, of course you may. And a good selection, too!
I’d have to say that Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix. It introduced my 2nd favorite HP character, Luna Lovegood, into the series.
The whole series?! Hehe. :P
One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. With the Shawshank Redemption in close second.
I never read either, though the first is certainly a classic. The movie for the latter, however, is certainly among my favorites, and I do love a Stephen King story!
Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse
What a thoughtful pick! I must confess, I didn't really enjoy that book when I read it long ago, though I think I'd appreciate it much more if I read it now.

Life and times of the wicked witch of the west by Gregory Maguire
I've never heard of that one! Though I could guess what it's about. :P
This is tough, but I’ll go with the one that I feel left the most lasting impression on me: The Giver.
I've heard a lot of good things about The Giver.
P.S. Your cat is dead By James Kirkwood
This is another one I've never heard of!
I really like the Time Machine by Michael Crichton. I first read it in high school
Hmm...I'm guessing you mean Timeline? If it's that one, I read it a long time ago, too, and I loved it.

A three way tie between Mistborn, The Way of Kings, and Ender’s Game. Playing favorites with these works of art is hard :(
Are you looking forward to the Ender's Game movie?

Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro.
Oh, what a beautiful book! I confess, I stopped reading about halfway through, though I hope to return to it one day. Remains of the Day, also by Ishiguro, is among my favorites.
