Tell about your first date

Thanks for your answers, all!  They were alternately hilarious, sad, and sweet.  I guess that's to be expected for first dates!

Mine was in high school - I went to lunch with a girl, and her friend, who set up the date, came along with us to...kinda facilitate.  She was the mutual friend.  I was so nervous that I spent the entire date talking to the friend.  Yeahhh...and that was that. :P

Today's Question: What was the happiest moment of your life?

This is really easy for me - and most, if not all of you, will have it one day, too.  When my son was born, and I got to hold him, I thought he was the most beautiful person I'd ever seen.  I was amazed and stunned and speechless.  It was the most moving thing I've ever felt.

Where did you live between the ages of 9 and 12?

My answers to this question is "El Paso, Texas."  Besides three years in Germany as a child, I grew up in El Paso.

nikohime answered: San Gabriel Valley, CA. While not a true valley girl by definition, I grew up using the associated colloquial “English". I am not proud :[
