How did you get one of your scars?

I can't show it, because it's now covered with leg hair, but I have a scar on my shin I got while learning to ride my bike.  I often think upon it and am reminded that parents often say you won't get hurt while learning to ride your bike...but I know better. :P

What is "must-see TV" for you?

I wonder if any of you are old enough to remember NBC's "Must-See TV?"  This brings back memories, especially of that channel's Thursday lineup, which at various times had Friends, Seinfeld, Fraiser, Mad About You, and lots of terrible shows as well.

For me, I only watch two television programs nowadays, and both religiously - Game of Thrones (like many of you!) and Castle.

If you could time travel to a point twenty years from now to peek into your life for five minutes, would you choose to do it? Why or why not?

I didn't have a chance to post the answers y'all gave to my question last night, and I would just skip it, but your answers are so personal and/or terribly interesting, so I just had to put them up!

As for me...I would take that opportunity, even for a five minute peek...I think it might give me the motivation to be a kinder person if my future relationships didn't amount to what I hope they will be.  After all, the power in this would be the ability to change our futures, right?

If you had one "do over" in your life, what would it be and how would you do it differently?

I love this question, because it reminds me of a poignant scene in one my favorite movies, City Slickers, in which the main characters are discussing the same thing.  For me, I think I would have invested more or less in some relationships.

As for me, I suppose I would want to be remembered as someone who did mighty work for Christ and who helped people both with spiritual and physical needs.

What is your favorite book?

My favorite book, other than the Bible (which as spiritual nourishment, seems to be in some other category), is The Joy Luck Club.  No other novel has touched me as much as that one has and does upon each rereading.  Jurassic Park would be a very close second, however!

What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?

Not a surprise - many of you answered cookies and cream or mint chocolate chip (yum for both!).  More of a surprise - despite all the gazillions of flavors out there, vanilla and strawberry are popular.

Also, Muge, that flavor sounds very interesting!  And caminc, your response - my goodness, hehe.

As for me, I think it would either be pistachio almond (yay, misslytherin!) or rocky road (yay, tofu-sama!).
