The Pace Report: "The Boundless Violin Crooner" The Damien Escobar Interview

Welcome to another edition of The Pace Report reporting from The Highline Ballroom as part of this year's 2016 Blue Note Jazz Festival.

Performing to a sold-out crowd last Saturday is New York City's own Damien Escobar performing new music from his upcoming CD "Boundless" which will be released in August of this year. Damien over the last decade has performed for two sitting presidents, was a runner-up with this brother Tourie on "America's Got Talent," and has toured endlessly around the world.

I had to chance to catch up with Damien before his show to talk about his growing up in Queens, New York, him studying at Juilliard as a teen, and finding his voice on the violin.
