‘Souvenir de la Malmaison’, the first rose to bloom in my garden! I love this fragrant, light pink Bourbon Rose so much. She is coming into her third year in my garden and I have to report that she is full of buds and her foliage is completely clean up to now. Growing roses organically, like I do, is a true challenge here in Central Texas, so I would like to recommend this rose highly especially to my fellow Central Texas gardeners. I have read that Bourbon Roses in general do well here and I am ready to try out another variety belonging to this rose class. Do any of you grow ‘Souvenir de la Malmaison’ in your garden?
