Who else likes the seaside and piers?
Today I’d like to show you my painting of "Bournemouth Pier", from a photo I took in early February.
We were going to a relative’s funeral and stopped off at the coast for a quick break before the crematorium, to ensure we arrived calm and early, ready to support the family. We walked down to the front after parking near a concert venue Steve had been to many years before and popped into the café at the aquarium for a cuppa and to admire the view of the pier.
My well-laid plans to see the sea and arrive with the family with serene dignity were a little marred by the wind blowing the sand from the beach across the pedestrianised area, over my shoes and into my tights. Sometimes it’s the little sensations one remembers from a day like that!
The A4 unframed original 🎨 is available for £75 including UK postage (or framed for £95 if you live close enough for me to deliver). Please just private message me to make your purchase.
It’s also available as prints and printed on all sorts of lovely things on Redbubble at:
