Christmas is upon us, therefore, succulents now have glitter on them :( The poor things

Last place I worked (local small business chain): one of my managers mocked they/them pronouns and was all-around nbphobic.

New job (at a big-box store): emplyees can have their pronouns placed on their name tag. In my first day, I met a colleague with they/them and someone else with she/they from another department. I’m kinda digging this place tbh.

I nabbed this zz out of the trash at home depot (I asked an employee first) and I stuck it in some water and I see some roots! I love zz plants and I'm excited to add this one to my family

I see the darling begonia maculata is becoming a more common plant. Caught sight of one hanging out in a box store.

March 23, 2020 Took my last chance to go out today and pet some plants. All the plant shops have closed down, so this will be my last chance for the next while to pet some leaves. I saw this beautiful Alocasia in Home Depot <3 If they were not so fussy, I would whisk another away but alas Felicia (my alocasia stingray) has all my attention on her.
