Here's my DIY box joint jig for my tablesaw. I eyeballed someone's YouTube demo and came up with this version. It's got double miter slot runners and has removable inserts for 1/4 and 1/2" dadoes, which also allows me to fine tune the gaps in between the teeth (or fingers, or whatever they're called). The 1/2" worked great for the shelves I made. Crafty ladies, I think you’d be pleasantly surprised if you tried carpentry! It’s soo fun!! Here I show what’s called a box joint, a type of strong joint of two wood boards, common in woodworking and usually to make drawers or boxes. Mechanism is all in place including the template for 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1 1/4, 1 1/2, 2, 2 1/2, 3, 4, 5 inch box joint pins. It is smooth.
