The BDS movement just called for a boycott on Xbox. This is because Xbox makes up a large portion of profits for Microsoft, which is currently aiding the occupation in its genocide. Candy Crush and Minecraft as a whole are part of the boycott as well, since they are owned by Microsoft.

Xbox users: you can continue playing the games you already own since you are not giving them any more money. But if you have a game pass subscription, cancel it. If you really want to buy any games in the meantime, buy them secondhand on Mercari, Ebay, or a similar reseller site where the money won’t go to Microsoft. Same goes for merchandise.

Xbox has been my primary gaming platform since the 360 and I've been an gamepass subscriber for years. It bums me tf out but I just cancled my subscription and won't be buying any more games for Xbox until further notice. I encourage you to do the same.

I am struggling to boycott Xbox as part of the BDS movement, because I don't really have any alternative ways to game rn and I have bg3 only for Xbox and recently started a campaign with a friend. I decided on it when I didn't know that you need a Gamepass for multiplayer and got 1 month for 1€, but I've got to cancel my abo next week, if I don't want to continue supporting them. It is soo hard, but I think I got to do it.

At least if I want to stand for my values and not only boycott things I didn't care about in the first place.
