I’m crying they’re referencing singing in the rain, my favorite movie of all time!!

For those of you who don’t know, this movie sequence is an idea that Gene Kelly’s character Don Lockwood has for a musical. The idea is that a young man moves to hollywood due to his sole passion to dance, the song in this sequence is called ‘Gotta Dance’ and throughout the sequence he is met with countless rejections from agencies. Nonetheless eventually one man believes in him, and he does well, so well in fact that he becomes a center celebrity in hollywood, surrounded by countless fans. Sound familiar?
