So on the 4th, I introduced my nephews to Independence Day (1996) because hello, modern classic and a childhood fave of anyone over 30.

12 year old nephew really liked it.

16 year old nephew gave it 2.5 stars on Letterboxd and reviewed “it’s like Arrival but for old people”.

Note, I also introduced him to Arrival.
