Where would you go if money wasn’t an issue ?

turns out I misread those and I think the questions are for you to send me answers to!! So let’s trade!

If money wasn’t an issue, I would go to Key West to visit my buddy! Also the Grand Canyon because my dad wants to go. Outside of the US I’d want to see Toulouse, France, and also Akihabara because I’m weeby at heart.

oh my gosh my choir teacher was like. such a good teacher i hate hearing about bad choir teachers IM SO SORRY

That’s the thing, he’s been my choir teacher since HIGH SCHOOL.  That’s more than 11 years I’ve known this man and I’ve been in classes with him for probably 6 or 7 years of that.

He’s a great choir teacher.  

It’s just that some days SOME DAYS he gets this wild hair up his ass to try something different to “teach” us easier.  And it never works, but he keeps them all in like a mental folder of techniques and brings them out again at random.  AND THEY STILL NEVER WORK.  We tell him it doesn’t work every time but he never listens.  

There are maybe 6 actual students in this class taking it for credit, and all of them are music majors in their last year.  They don’t need to learn how to break down measures or sight-sing or figure out the tempo or the key or what not.  Just have us make a stab at it sight-singing a few times, then go section by section and actually teach us the parts we’re having trouble with.  It’s what we did in high-school, and it worked there!  No need to have us sing a song that’s normally in Latin as the syllable ‘ti’; we’re not going to stumble that bad over a language we’ve sung at least one song in every semester.  No need to have us figure out the whole thing in solfege, that’s just confusing as hell.

And for the LOVE of all that is HOLY please do not make the ENTIRE ALTO SECTION sing an entirely different part transcribed in an entirely different way.  Soprano?  Yes, easy, written on the same staff with the same note locations and everything.  Tenor?  How the eff does the tenor staff work???  EXPLAIN don’t just throw us to the sharks!

Sorry, I’m just really frustrated because this was one huge checkmark on the “can it screw up nM’s auditory and visual processing abilities” tally today.

I’m glad to say at least that she’s not transphobic! she knew I was trans in freshman year and was actually very supportive. Like, all things considered, I thought we had a nice friendship? WHO KNOWS APPARENTLY I MESSED IT ALL UP BY LEAVING THOUGH LOL.

That’s exactly my train of thought! We weren’t EXTREMELY close friends, we were classmates and got along well and even though we didn’t have too much in common we still hung out a bit outside of class. We added each other on facebook and tumblr and had each others phone numbers and within this time period at some point she removed me from facebook and somehow we both unfollowed each others’ tumblrs (don’t know whether she blocked me, or I accidentally unfollowed, but I don’t remember unfollowing her?) I still have her number in my phone but I don’t think she has mine.

POINT BEING there’s no real reason why she should have taken my leaving as a personal offense. Does she want me to apologize??? Is that something I’m SUPPOSED to apologize for? Was I supposed to personally tell her I was leaving to make sure it was okay with her??? what the heck. what the heck!! why does she hate me!!
