- they annoy one other: Abolish → Avid (jelaously, Abolish is too good for Avid's liking) → Pyro (he's fun to annoy) - The character and relationship developmnet between these three would be *insane* - Its funny af, just think about it - They have qualities that can make eachother better, as they all have something in their past that they can relate to (Pyro and Avid killing someone which is hunting them now, Avid and Abolish loosing someone they loved, Pyro and Abolish never feeling like *enough*) - Two rich boys who never had a chance to act their age x Avid, who grew up (fairly) normaly, in a village, where he didn't had to go after someone's approval, there was no rivaly in his village (not in a way Pyro and Abolish had expirienced). So Avid could show these two just how to be *young and stupid* - Because Pyro deserves someone who *actually* gives a shit about their well being - WE UNDOOM AVID WITH THIS ONE 🎉 - Its kinda hot, if you think about it

- they're so silly goofy - they're textbook "Rabid dogs and their handler" - Abolish being soft for these two wet cats would be so cute - They're precious to me okay - I take full credit for the name - I really like htem okay they're really sweet to me

its funny lol. Early season Abolish with two gremlins on a leash. They want to kill each other and also kiss each other because every single one of these guys has insane complicated feelings about the situation and the vampyrism. On a kinder note I think they would all genuinely have interesting dynamics and things to say if forced into a situation where they had to actually talk. Avid as an amateur vampire hunter vs Abolish as a child soldier hunter. Forever hung up on the FireLocke take of guy who loves paperwork vs guy always stuck with paperwork who hates it. on top of the normal firelocke stuff. and Avid and Pyro have too many parallels and contrasts that compliment for me to count. At the end of the day these three are all badly socialized and know such specific things in their lines of study and i think the exchange of information and the growth of feelings between them would foster something genuinely interesting and deeply beneficial were it to work out

* idgafer abolish x gafers pyro and avid * pyro and avid both think abolish can save them. abolish will only do so if they ask, otherwise he doesn't care * abolish as avid and pyro's get along shirt * post avid in the coven leads to some looney tunes buffoonery with everyone trying to kill each other (avid and pyro are dramatic and personal about it, abolish is on the clock)

They have so much potential, both pre- and post- turnings. Avid would have such a crush on Abolish if he knew Abolish was an actually competent vampire hunter (another attempted Elle replacement baybeee) - he's attracted to competency and people who could kill him, and Abolish fits that bill to a T. Abolish also quietly supported Avid in the early episodes and was one of the few people not to treat them like they were crazy. They were neighbors, and Merp Manor duo formed a trio with Abolish, which was forgotten about post-turning. Vampire Avid would spend a lot of time attempting to taunt Abolish and then fleeing when Abolish nearly killed him with no effort, and Abolish could fix them if he tried. Pyro had a connection with Abolish and only lashed out in their spiraling, and Abolish wasn't really that mad about it. Pyro was so redeemable - if Abolish had just reached out a bit more, he could've rehabilitated them and helped him heal from his trauma. He could've also talked him down from murdering Avid, which was what ultimately doomed Pyro. Abolish has so many Pyro interactions in his POV. Need I mention the rose scene? Not to mention Abolish spending time with Pyro shortly after he was turned, when he noticed they seemed off and was worried about them. They were one of his few connections in Oakhurst, and I think he did care in the only way he could when he was trained not to get attached to people he met on missions. He wasn't surprised when Pyro died, but I think if he'd found their body, he would've made them a grave. Avid and Pyro... pre-turning, Pyro seemed friendly towards Avid. And after Pyro's turning was revealed, the way Avid talked about him when he wasn't there, shortly before the tree incident... if Pyro had heard that, he might not have been so eager to kill them. They could've been friends, and Pyro might've been more stable knowing there was someone who cared that they'd been turned and felt responsible for not stopping it from happening, someone who understood that they were struggling with their new life. He could've cared about Avid if Avid hadn't panicked every time they interacted with him and ruined things. After both their turnings, they hate each other so much, but they're the type to make out about it. I think they could help each other heal if they tried, though post-turning they'd be more likely to make each other worse. Avid is also proven to be attracted to people who want him dead and could follow through, and. Well. Pyro definitely fits that.

All of them together would be so good. Abolish and his two partners who hate each other (because they would be unlikely to get together pre-turning, let's be real. That would be too soon) but still kiss, and who refrain from killing each other for Abolish's sake (only partially because he could stake them if they tried, and they wouldn't know for sure whether he would or not). I think Abolish could fix them. They could also be his attack dogs, if he wanted them to be.

They're just a gang! They care about each other and are trying to protect eachother and maybe they've been pulled into a cult and maybe they're reinforcing that indoctrination to each other but it's fine!! They have each other's back, they'll be there for eachother! R̶i̶g̶h̶t̶?̶ ̶

Their relationship is integral to all three pov’s and developments. And even 200 years later, Drift and Shelby are still visiting his grave every year.

THE doomed almost-polycule…avid and the two people who believed him about vampires, or at least didn’t laugh at him for it. shelby and the two people who believed her about cryptids, or at least didn’t laugh at them for it. drift and the two people who don’t think her a coward for abandoning her case.

Hear me out. Sheldrift? Awesome ship. Shelvid? Just as great. Now combine them together and get sheldriftvid! they are so cutsey!!! Theyre genuinely just three best friends who care about each other more than anything in the world, we should put them in a poly qpr neow. Yes, *we* <3
