Fan fic rec Fridays
I’m posting about the fics I enjoy reading (almost) every Friday. In no particular order, let’s dive in, shall we?
First up we have “Call my Bluff” by Bradleymartin. (Star Trek: AOS, Kirk/Bones, 36K, Complete). A college AU where Bones is in med school, and Kirk is in a fraternity. The crew is all here, and ready to be found family. Oh, and watch how Bones and Kirk get around to finally admitting they like each other. Like, like-like each other.
Next, “A Matter of Timing” by Princess of Geeks. (Stargate SG-1, Daniel/Jack, 9K, Complete). Jack and Daniel finally talk, pull their heads outta their asses, and start something between the two of them.
Next, “(a silent prayer) Like Dreamers Do” by Chicklette. (Marvel, Bucky/Steve, 12K, Complete). Look, I love me a good soulmate AU, and this one delivers. It’s got angst, a sweet ending, and some good world building. There’s a reason it has near 3K in kudos.
