Yay, another AU based on a @corofic-prompts prompt, being really directly from this one.

Basically, the Hierarchy talks Team Blue into breaking apart:

Wireglasses tells Specs to find a team that’s not a group of idiots and get stronger through them. Specs is hesitant but eventually leaves to start a new team with a stricter and more strategic leadership style. Wireglasses is watching from the sidelines and considering inviting Specs’ new team to a legally distinct Hierarchy 2.0 once he’s strong and willing enough.

Ocho convinces Goggles not just to leave Team Blue, but to also use his disarming goofiness and surprising skills to further spread his hopes for fun. With some extra manipulation from Ocho, Goggles ends up becoming a capitalist overlord intending to make a world of 24/7 happiness.

Shady tries to get Headphones to leave Team Blue, but she is really hesitant. Eventually, she decides to pretend to leave. To sell it, Headphones tries to act edgier and meaner. Despite her faltering, Shady is supporting her attempts.

8-Bit has trouble getting Bobble Hat to leave Team Blue until she adds her amassed collection of plushies to the conversation. However, Bobble Hat immediately decides that, now that she’s no longer in Team Blue, 8-Bit is going to be her new bestie. This results in 8-Bit trying desperately to get Bobble Hat to lock in and Bobble Hat trying to get 8-Bit to fully have fun.

Meanwhile, Braids hears about the Hierarchy’s plot and is trying to reunite Team Blue. She ends up getting help from the rest of the Best 8 and Scrap Jack since, apparently, social anxiety is even stronger when one wrong word could possibly make the team’s fractures worse.
