family members stop dropping dead during my vacations challenge: impossible apparently
I know “brain aneurysm” is not a disability in itself, but as someone who is both disabled and has a brain aneurysm, can this disability pride month be the time we finally learn about what a brain aneurysm ACTUALLY is, and stop using the term incorrectly in the phrase “I’m going to have an aneurysm”?
As this diagram states, an aneurysm is a bulging in a blood vessel due to a weakened area. It is a stationary thing, like a tumor or a cyst. What most people mistake an aneurysm for is an aneurysm RUPTURE, in which the weak part of this blood vessel bursts and bleeds out into the surrounding area. This can be caused by extreme stress, but this is not always the case.
So… no. You aren’t going to “have a brain aneurysm” if someone upsets you, unless you already had one before.
If you make me mad I’m gonna have a brain aneurysm! And if you make me happy I’m going to have a brain aneurysm! And if I’m completely neutral I’m going to have a brain aneurysm!

My entire life, everything or anything I've accomplished just hasn't been enough. Before my brain aneurysm rupture and surgery, life was so simple. My thoughts were so sharp and clear. I was out of shape, but relatively healthy and capable. Now, my mind is jumbled and I'm always exhausted from being in near constant pain. When I exercise, it makes the pain worse and the throbbing nearly unbearable. Doctors say it's "migraines," and not the titanium clip in my brain. People assume I'm just fat and lazy. I work as hard as my body and mind will allow, and its just never going to be enough. I'm trapped in this body. And it's... It's tough to be limited. I guess I just need to keep pushing myself.
haven't drawn in so long when I try I feel like I'm having a brain aneurysm now
Hello everyone!
One of my childhood best friends, and author of the WebToon Waterstrider, is currently fighting a really hard battle for her life. Last Thursday she had a brain aneurysm rupture and had to go through two different brain surgeries. Her family is currently trying to raise money for her time in the hospital as well as the procedures she is still undergoing. If you could, please donate to her gofundme, and if you cannot donate please share this information. I would really appreciate it and so would her family.
I am also planning on taking drawing/writing commissions in the near future to raise money for her as well, so keep an eye out for that information. I will probably post that info here and on my @primary-visions account as well.
