A happy brain about my interior space. This is for my trans boyfriend who's so wonderful. I'm learning to be really cared for and understood. I've never been in a gay relationship, or a trans relationship, or an ace relationship. And now I'm getting all three at once. Plus someone who really understands my disability and neurodivergence and helps me be kinder to myself and offer assistance where he can.
We get to share a love of queer history and media. Plus the experience of being trans men and sharing gender goals. I understand now how my previous straight and presumed cis relationships were always partly in opposition to the other partner. Sharing a gender, especially such a complicated and self-defined one, is such a different experience.
ID: An abstract brain drawing. The outline and fold lines are made from strings of lavender hearts. The brain is filled with stripes from the gay men's flag and the trans flag. The colors are forest green, mint green, turquoise, dark purple, and turquoise, rose pink, and turquoise. Each stripe has a little pattern in a slightly lighter color of filled in and outlined hearts. The cerebellum and brain stem are dark purple with a small pattern of tiny hearts on strings. The image background is black and dark purple clouds with illuminated purple hearts. In the lower left corner is my artist mark and the text T4T Gay Love 2024-02-14. End ID.
