I just need a big hug, and time to take a really long nap in a girl's arms...
I want to apologize for not being so active last week! I was super busy with tons of work and stressing out about said work.
I was planning to draw a bunch during my free time tonight, but my brain decided to gift me a migraine for all of my hard work! 😍
I suppose I’ll attack an image I did make last week, it’s related to Dragon Ball Damnation, but it’s more me just playing around with rendering and backgrounds and stuff. It’s not the best but I’ve posted drawings that look worse than it so 🤷
I’m so impatient, but I have to let myself recognize that progress is progress. Even if I’m only slowly working on my creative projects, at least they’re slowing getting there, ya know?
Had a lot on my plate with the end of the semester approaching (last day of class for me is May 1st), and an appointment on the 28th with a neurologist where I might find out if I have epilepsy or not (hopefully it’s not just some kind of initial consultation, I’d like to know sooner rather than later). So I suppose my productivity being a bit lower is to be expected.
I am think about these projects ALL the time though! Don’t worry! I haven’t forgotten about any of them (my mind won’t let me anyway 😅).
crazy how accommodating my autism in public means I actually get to spend more time in public bc I dont get overwhelmed after 10 minutes in a store. Who woulda thought.
Oh boy... It's been a long time since I've read scientific journals and even when I was reading them I didn't read very many. I'm gonna have to keep reminding myself of this as I make may way through the stack of articles I want to read. My reading comprehension will improve with time and exposure. Brain is mushy now but that's OKAY.
The fact that reading something about the thermal conduction of cryovolcanic outflow and it's subsequent freeze time (something I haven't done until now) is *nothing* like reading a paper on analyzing the XRay lightcurves of potential neutron stars and black holes (something I did 5 years ago) cannot be overstated either.
Which leads me to the other thing I'm gonna have to remind myself on the regular: it's totally normal for someone with a degree in physics or chemistry or something to then go for a doctorate in geology or earth science. Totally normal. Which means it's totally normal to have only the vaguest idea of what's being discussed in these papers rn. I have no formal education in geology and my last chemistry class was 14 years ago. It's okay to stumble through these papers.
Tldr: paper one made Fox's brain hurt and they feel vaguely dumb but it's okay because this is a normal part of the learning process.....
I'm never making an animatic again
It's 2am, everything hurts, and my code doesn't run (well, it does run, but it's wrong)
What if I just inhaled 5 burnt cinnamon rolls? What if I just ate 5 burnt cinnamon rolls and wrote a quick one-shot based on an art piece I love? What then?
