2025 was a wild Sephiroth year
TEAS newest ep : " Dont let your tears run more, my star. "
From what I hear, Tala is the goddess of stars in Filipino Mythology! (←Do correct me if Im wrong in that statement. Thanks :3) So her name is also used for the Filipino word "star" other than "bituin" which is what is commonly used. :D
“Bruce is a tough teacher” well if we go off Batman Begins, Ra’s Al Ghul literally told him his parents’ deaths were his Dad’s fault (because he was weak), called Bruce weak, threw Bruce in a frozen lake (because he could; entirely unrelated to the lesson at hand) and then made fun of him for being cold and shivering after he pulled himself out, so yeah…Bruce might be tough, but his teacher was so much worse.
I'm too busy to actually post anything right now, but watching Hoyotwt dissolve into a ship war over a youtube video is proving to be a good diversion from IRL stress, so thanks guys, I guess? 😂
Perhaps it's a bit mean of me to say this, but... I always get a laugh out of people who develop superiority complexes like "I'm so much better than other fans because I don't ship the most popular/over-hyped ship in the fandom!"
Given that ships which experience meteoric rises in popularity are almost uniformly 1) paid the most attention to by the writers, 2) given the most meaningful/frequent interactions in the cast, and 3) far more likely to be well-written due to a combination of #1 and #2, being proud of yourself for "I don't ship that popular ship" is, in many cases, tantamount to gleefully announcing that you're media illiterate or so obsessed with being "not like those other girls/guys/whatever" that you can't even let yourself enjoy something good when it's put in front of you.
No one is obligated to like all the ships that become "mainstream" in their fandoms, but at the very least you should be mentally stable enough to not gaslight yourself into believing there are no reasons for popular ships to be popular...
Some Jax face doodles cuz I’m still not over that episode
